This company was named one of the Big 50 Remodeling companies in the country by Remodeling Magazine in 1987. It set up a kitchen division named Barrington Kitchens in 1988. This company was the first "green" construction company in the region and built passive solar sunspaces and energy-efficient homes and additions that incorporated solar energy systems.
